I’ll be the very first in my family members to gain an university level, and that’s something I hold extremely near my heart.
My family and I transferred to the USA in 2014 We selected Memphis as our second home to start fresh and construct a better future.
When I finished senior high school in 2020, I decided to sign up with the Military Reserve so I might function full-time to help support my family members economically. Along the road, my moms and dads constantly reminded me of the importance of an university level. Truthfully, I battled with the decision between selecting job over school.
That altered when I found the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could make my level 100 % online from an approved, across the country identified Carnegie R 1 college. The flexibility of the program made it feasible to stabilize job, life, and education. Once I enrolled, I recognized I made the appropriate choice.
As an online pupil, I stayed included with campus life via job fairs and signing up with student companies like the Culture of Personnel Monitoring. I intended to get the most out of my university experience and get in touch with individuals that shared my passion for HR.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of fall semester. Many thanks to the support and framework of UofM Worldwide, I was able to finish solid, even making the Dean’s List. I’m taking 4 courses while serving on active duty, and I’m happy to state I’ll be graduating in May.
Having the ability to serve my nation, sustain my family, and make my degree implies the world to me. I feel prepared to tackle whatever comes next.
